Artificial Intelligence characters in movies have captured our imagination for decades, shaping our perceptions of AI. But could those perceptions become reality? Join us as we explore memorable AI characters in cinema and compare them against modern AI technologies such as ChatGPT, Google Bard, and xAI. We will explore and compare popular tools and discuss implications for Information Governance. Will Skynet take over the Earth? Will HAL 9000 attack us while we’re trying to escape? Join us to explore the answer to these questions and more.

Mark Graves is a long-time member of ARMA, currently serving on ARMA’s Chapter Advisory Committee as well as the Nebraska Chapter Board of Directors. Mark has 20+ years of experience in information governance, records management, and related technologies. When not working or hanging out at ARMA events, Mark enjoys road tripping, playing Rocket League, and goofing around with technology.
