Paralegal Students

If you're just considering a paralegal career or you're already deep into your studies we have resources to help you where you're at.

Paralegals, also known as legal assistants, are a distinguishable group of professionals who assist attorneys in the delivery of legal services. Through formal education, training, and experience, paralegals have knowledge and experience regarding the legal system and substantive and procedural law that qualify them to do work of a legal nature under the supervision of an attorney. In all 50 states, legal assistants are prohibited from practicing law. They cannot represent a client in court or give legal advice. Paralegals are employed in private law offices, corporations, and governmental agencies.

Paralegal Student Scholarships

We offer scholarships to paralegal students at accredited institutions in Nebraska who meet certain eligibility requirements. Membership is encouraged but non-members are also eligible to apply.
